What are some good freshwater plants for this aquarium

What are some good freshwater plants for this aquarium?
I have 4 glolite tetras, 3 neon tetras, 4 pristella tetras, and 3 serpae tetras in a 30 gallon tank. I have one large piece of driftwood in the middle. What would be some good live plants to add. The pH level is 7.5 and there is lighting. The tank stays at about 75 degrees. Also, are there any small shrimp I could add?

What type of lighting do you have? Are you going to inject CO2? Do you have any fertilizers? I need the answers to these questions before I can tell you which live plants you can keep. But with low light, no CO2 and no fertilizers, Java Fern and Anubias would be good start plants. There are plenty of dwarf shrimp you could add. Amano Shrimp, Red Cherry Shrimp, Tiger Shrimp, Snowball Shrimp, Yellow Shrimp, Blue Pearl Shrimp, the list is endless. Look on the left hand side for a list of shrimp species: http://www.planetinverts.com/ But be careful, because some species can interbreed. Take a look at this chart to see if they're compatible: http://www.planetinverts.com/Shrimp-Chart3.jpg

I have found Anubias and Java fern the easiest to grow without special conditions (as ZooT says); also Foxtail is a nice-looking stem plant that grows well with decent light, and is easier than Cabomba or Ambulia. Banana lilies are another interesting-looking and fast-growing option - they send up long stems to the surface with little 'lilypads' on the end, often in a few days.

My fish love to play in the java moss and I also have a java fern. They both grow great in any light

What is the total pH of a human being

What is the total pH of a human being?
If i take a living human being, put it in a giant blender and blend until the texture is like a hammered-on banana, what would be its pH value?

i would also say around 7. But ya i hope no1 knows the answer to this question with certainty

around 7..... maybe no one know the answer correctly...

If you were to do this, how much liquid would result: Blood = about 5 litres buffered near neutral pH Stomach acid = about 250ml - very acidic, pH = 0.5-1.0 This is HCl strong acid Urine in bladder. = about 1 litre = near neutral pH If you combine these posssible sources of fluid, the stomach acid will have a strong effect and produce a solution where the pH is probably about 2-3 . But this is really an educated(?) guess.

If a strong acid has a pH of 1, a strong base has a pH of 14, and water has a pH of 7, does catalase work

If a strong acid has a pH of 1, a strong base has a pH of 14, and water has a pH of 7, does catalase work...?
1. If a strong acid has a pH of 1, a strong base has a pH of 14, and water has a pH of 7, does catalase work best in an acid, base, or neutral environment? Explain. 2. Predict ways in which pH affects the chemical reactions in living cells.

Think about the structure of catalase. Enzymes are just protein, and proteins have specific ranges of pH in which they work best. Generally speaking, extremely acidic or basic conditions risk denaturing proteins, however each is different. This will help in answering both questions.
