Its either posh villages like Forbes or Dasmarinas, even the new Alabang, but you can also do well with Bucaue, Bulacan, or the new night spots-lined avenues in Makati. The best, really, for me was the district of Calumpang in Marikina City, but darned it, they closed every joint I knew over there.

tondo, or on top smokey mountain, the view is terrific, so is the air.

Palawan - but not the city ( Puerto Princesa ). Live in the suburbs - short travel to a beach. Cost of real estate is low. Cost of living is relatively cheap. Happy Holidays !

If you are hiding from cops, any squatters area would be "safe" from the cops. If you want a vacation house, try Punta Fuego in Batangas if you like the ocean, Tagaytay or Baguio for cooler than usual weather.
