Living in the streets of Manila is not expensive at all. Free rent, no barangay fees, no water or electricity bills. Maybe the dearer or better ones would be near the markets (for free food).

living in the philippines is really easy and not very expensive. ;)

Tomas Morato Avenue, Makati Avenue, Eastwood, Ortigas Avenue. Rent around these areas are high compared to the sidestreets near them.

I am thinking of streets in upscale subdivisions like Forbes, Dasmariñas Village, Magallanes Village, Corinthian Gardens, Ayala Alabang and the likes. It's where the homes of the rich are, with each home usually as sprawling as they are luxurious and tastefully done.
