I am a US citizen and I want to work and live in the Philippines. What do I need to do

I am a US citizen and I want to work and live in the Philippines. What do I need to do?
I am a filipino born in the US. I visited the Philippines a year ago and loved it. So I want to live and work there. Not sure if it will be permanent. Another reason why I want to work there is because of the beautiful filipina ladies.

You can check the visa requirements at the USCIS web site.

it depends how long you want to work there. you can get a work visa through the US to work in another country, but they have to accept you into their country when you declare your reasons for being there.

You must have sponsorship from a company in the Philippines for a work visa. The high paying jobs are competitive and extremely difficult to come by. The average salary in the Philippines is around $1000 a year. And possibly $500 a month if you are lucky. The Senators earn less than $30,000 a year, not counting their graft where there real money is. Better to live there and generate revenue from the USA. Something I have looked into in the past. EARN DOLLARS, SPEND PESOS!! If you have citizenship in the Philippines you do not need a visa. Joe, where in the world did you get your numbers? I do not know whether to laugh out loud or to question your statistical sources. According to your own follow-up stats senators earn P40,425/month that equates to P485,100/year. That is approx. $9,800 per year----way way less than the $30,000 that you previously reported. It's like saying a new 3-series BMW can be had for $10k when its real price is $30k. That obviously is not a reliable answer, it may even be considered fraudulent. Maybe I should report your answer as a violation as well as you did to me? We can play that game, Mr. Sensitive.

That is too much trouble to find a filipina lady if you ask me. A fellow worker in Belgium married a nice Filipina "he met on the plane". I.e. find a Filipina lady through one of the 1000 or so wedding agencies, and they will provide you with a full cover story. Greetings from Belgium.
