My grandfather is a WW2 US veteran but prefer to live in the Philippines. How can he get his dollar pension ?
My grandfather fight in the Phiippine guerilla army during WW2. He was approved of some benifits like living in the US and have a chance to become US citizen and can claim his monthly pension, My grandfather is too old and we in the family attemp so many times to encourage him to live in the US with our US citizen relatives. But he always insist and prefer to live and die in his own country. I don't know how you call it, but he is too hesitant of living in another area in a different culture, weather, and climate. Is their anyway that he can get his dollar pension w/o going to United States? I will leave my emaill open for 1 week. Any person or relative of that person around the globe who have familiar case and got his US dollar pension w/o living his own country, pls email me. Our family have agreed to to give some sort of reward for those person who can solve this problem.

You should contact the U.S. Veterans administration. They will gladly help you with your questions. You can e-mail them at www.va.gov

If he is entitled to a pension, then he should have been receiving it since the end of the war. You really need to contact the Veteran's Administration (VA) and find out exactly what he is authorized to receive. If he is indeed entitled to financial recompense, then the money can be deposited into any bank account.
